Student Accessibility Services (SAS) provides academic adjustments, auxiliary aids, and services to students with disabilities so they can participate fully in the college 经验. To qualify for SAS, you must be an enrolled student at Crafton 山大学, have a verifiable 残疾 that causes educational limitations, and have the ability to benefit from instruction. Based on the nature of your verified 残疾 you may 有资格:

  • Disability related counseling.
  • Assessment for Learning Disabilities Eligibility.
  • Extended Time for Exams.
  • Distraction Reduced Environment for Exams.
  • Priority Registration.
  • Texts in alternate formats (e.g. PDFs, etext, audio, daisy or braille).
  • On-campus transportation and mobility assistance.
  • Specialized equipment and software.
  • Sign language interpreters or synchronous live closed captioning.
  • Note takers or scribe technology.
  • Assistive technology (e.g. screen readers, e-books, audio books, smart pens).
  • Individualized assistive technology training.

The mission of  Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is to ensure that students with disabilities have equal access to the educational opportunities offered by Crafton 山大学.  SAS provides academic adjustments, auxiliary aids, services and instruction for eligible students with a verified disabilities which will allow them to participate fully in all college programs and activities.  SAS is committed to assisting students with disabilities in achieving their educational goals. 

Students are presumed to possess independent living skills that will allow them to provide for their own personal needs on campus. Providing a personal attendant or mobility aide is not a mandated service in post-secondary education.  因此,如果 students require a personal attendant or mobility aide, they must provide for one at their own expense.

The academic adjustments, auxiliary aids, services, and instruction offered by SAS should be accessed through the established policies and procedures.
